I am a technology entrepreneur and a public policy expert with over 19 years of cross cutting experiences in entrepreneurial development and technology governance. My expertise covers public governance in cybersecurity, Internet, ICT for development, emerging technology, data protection and privacy. I’m a member of Nigeria Internet Governance Forum MAG, ISOC Nigeria, Africa ICT Alliance and the policy architect of Nigeria National Cybersecurity Strategy & Policy (2014) under the National Cybersecurity Program launched in 2015 by the Federal Government of Nigeria (www.cert.gov.ng); co-developer Nigeria Child Online Protection Policy (2012); Nigeria Police Cybercrime Emergency Response Team (NIPOCERT, 2012); Nigeria Internet Governance Initiative (2012), and Data Protection Bill (2018). I previously served United Nations as a member of Multistakeholder Advisory Group (2014-2017), also former member, African Union Internet Governance Forum Multistakeholders Advisory Group (2015-2018); a fellow of the European School of Internet Governance (2016 Session); member of Global Advisory Consultative Group on Africa Geospatial Data and Internet Conference by African Open Data and Internet Research Foundation, Accra Ghana (www.afrigeocon.rog). I was a co-chaired UN-IGF Best Practice Forum on Cybersecurity (2016-17); co-facilitator of UN IGF main sessions on cybersecurity, (Geneva 2017 ) and Internet Governance for SDGs (Mexico 2016). I served ECOWAS as a lead resource person on Internet Governance for development and cybersecurity policy (2015-2018). I’m a recipient of joint European Council/Nigeria Government Data Protection Legislation in Nigeria Residential Drafting Workshop certificate, and a co-facilitator of the EU-GDPR workshop on ‘’Implications on National Security and Economy’’, with the Centre for Cyberspace Studies , Nasarawa State University. I am a serving member of Nigeria Cybercrime Advisory Council; Senate Expert Working Group on ICT and Cybersecurity; and sub-committee on Data Protection legislative bill development. I Co-founded Global Network for Cybersolution (GNC) and pioneered Continental Project Affairs Associates (CPAA) and a Data Analytics Privacy (DAPT) startups (www.dapt.com.ng). An alumnus of University of Ibadan; Federal University of Technology, Owerri with post graduate qualification in Information Technology; and undertaken a post graduate research in cybersecurity at the Centre for Cyberspace Studies, Nasarawa State University, Nigeria.
